Terms of Service

These starter terms describe the basic responsibilities for using OrderKo during pilot and early production usage.

Restaurant responsibility

Restaurants are responsible for keeping menu prices accurate, marking items sold out, confirming payments, and handling customer service at the counter. OrderKo provides the ordering workflow; the restaurant remains responsible for fulfillment, food quality, refunds, and customer disputes.

Service availability

OrderKo is designed for reliable everyday operation, but restaurants should keep a manual fallback process available for internet outages, device issues, or unexpected downtime. Pilot restaurants should test cashier, kitchen, kiosk, and customer status flows before live use.

Access and security

Staff PINs and admin access should be shared only with authorized restaurant personnel. Restaurants should request credential changes if access is no longer appropriate. If a PIN or secret is exposed, it should be rotated immediately from admin or super-admin controls.

Pay-at-counter scope

OrderKo records orders and status updates. Unless separately agreed, customers pay directly at the restaurant counter and OrderKo does not act as a payment processor.
